Military helicopters equipped with surveillance gear and who knows what else patrol the skies, forcing local residents to close windows and blinds to escape the noise and intrusion. "It's like Apocalypse Now around here," said one resident. "Some nut keeps playing Wagner real loud, just like in the movie. I think he does it on purpose, trying to make a statement. Maybe that's what is attracting the choppers."
One resident, keen to cash in on this new audience, and perhaps hoping for some free airtime on TV (not to mention right here on HF Logos), has placed an advert in her backyard which can only be read by her immediate neighbor and the multitude in the skies above.
